Somehow shocked... The scenery is really stunning in the far north, and though there's few conversation, other sounds(like the wuthering wind, the dog bark, the cracking ice and even the faint whistle from the aurora, I think) help a lot in building the environment. That will compose my impression of the polar regions hahahaha!
An important question, I wonder how much of truth it holds, will humanity really turn out like this in the most desolate situation?
As long as the answer is yes, the character of Saiva can really touch me (actually she already does). She is always lonely but desperate for love, which is magnified in the film especially by the desolation of the polar region. But since young she was expelled and constantly deprived of love (by Saman, by invaders... ), she tried to seclude herself from the human world's possible hurts, and lived with daughter as the only consolance... and maybe some sort of emotional reliance. Look, in the flashback scene she was so timid but also sweet with her short-lived lover, and even at the beginning scene when she was killing her dog, she's not so callous but portrayed some sort of attachment.
But again the daughter Anja herself deprived her last warmth and possibility of being loved. Actually I think the man prefers Saiva more... if not for Anja teasing him first. When Saiva was about to confide in the man, the daughter called him over, and later he shared his story only with the daughter... With such parallel, I wonder if the daughter knew Saiva's story, or just grew up in the isolated environment. Personally I'm inclined to the first probability, but in that case won't she know her adopter is longing for insured company and love, and won't that be too cruel to abandon her alone? Maybe that's too much for a teenager to care, who just wants to explore the world and enjoy her happiness... But can't that also be regarded as careless and disheartening? (Also I think the character of the daughter is a little flat... we don't know much about her...)
Then even the most horrifying part seems to lose power against the background of immense loneliness and sorrow...... I'm not surprised to see Saiva do so, since she's hardly been loved, she is about to lose love again, she's an experienced killer... But also there's a moment, I wonder if in exchange, Loki is taking Saiva and Anja away, will Anja do the same Saiva to take the chance of being loved? (Since when their first kiss being detected, Anja portrayed some sort of jealousy then tried to possess Loki...) And then it comes back to the question of the amount truth in this situation, will Anja really act like this and care so less? Can Saiva really made up her mind to do this to whom companied her for years?
Maybe there could be more depict of the mother-daughter bond, so the impact of the last action will be more substantial, (but I don't know how, and now i think it's okay). Michelle Yeoh again played such a loser-in-love role, I'll weep for her, hope next time and next many times she'll not be hurt.
悲剧到家的女人。杨紫琼为毛要演个这玩意。各种叽叽歪歪的影评,涉及人性啦、欲望啦、压抑啦.....都是球!除了揭人脸皮玩了一把惊悚外,此片给我的感受就是,除了杨紫琼扮演的类似母亲的角色正常外,其他都是没有进化的物种。杨被巫婆神叨叨的预言所中伤,被族群抛弃,但漂泊中的她遇到自己的丈夫,爱她的丈夫以及他的部落,正常健康地向往生活,并不因为曾经遭受的不公过往,而带有一丝悲恨。结果她丈夫及部族被俄国人全部杀害,她本人也遭受凌辱,却能在身心俱遭重创的情况下,毫不犹豫地从帐中抱出仅存的一个女婴,用善良的母性去哺育和陪伴她的成长。期间遭遇的所有困境,她都坚强面对。就这样一个善良坚强有大爱的女人,再次施舍自己的良知,救了一个二货男人后,却被这对狗男女双双背叛了。男人与她玩暧昧,掉头便在帐篷中不避嫌地干她那傻逼女儿,这是对恩情和道义的双重背叛。女儿的所谓天真纯傻,不过是没见过男人的春心大动,对其母的嫉妒戒备溢于言表。这是对哺育之恩的无耻背叛。两个人就这么肆无忌惮、毫无廉耻、全无愧色地发展动物属性的奸情性欲,根本无视另外一个女人的立场和视觉污染。他娘的!所以要多读书,要讲忠孝礼义廉耻,中国人的道德也许有伪善的成分,但究其根本还是懂得些许掩饰和克制,起码不至于让大家都那么难看和难堪。旁观者观之,只觉肮脏别扭无耻。一对雌雄物件,都是拜“母亲”所赐,得以苟活。可口中说出离别的话语,却是那般轻描淡写,毫无波澜。野驴都做不来的事,他们却如此轻松自然。完全不顾及和考虑,他们走了后,剩下这个孤独的老女人将如何在这片荒寂、寒冷、物质匮乏的冰天雪地中生存下去,甚至恬不知耻地淡然道出要分走一半食物,要带走仅存的三条雪橇犬中的一条,你他妈不如干脆拔刀干掉她算了!假惺惺地询问要不要一起走的时候,我倒是第一次感受到了这狗逼女人原来也会懂得虚伪,尽管那么勉强恶心,心口严重不一。何以完全不把这个有母亲般恩情的女人当一回事。整片看不到一对狗男女一丝人类应有的温情和感恩。与天寒地冻相呼应的正是这无法理解的冷漠和无耻。
既然都是她母亲给的命,在遭遇连串背叛和重击、无视下,她要索取回去,倒也觉得很正常。
只是那段狗血地揭去女儿面皮,并戴着人皮面具与她的男人做爱这节剧情,是有点异于常人,特别刺激眼球和重口味了,令人相当不适,也不太合乎逻辑。莫非母亲真的只是性欲难耐,迫切渴求性交?不惜勒死女儿只求一夜交媾?结局的这出根本是败笔,完全颠覆了母亲前面所有的内心戏和情感挣扎,使得整片变得单薄脆弱可笑,缺乏母亲这个唯一正常人的人性逻辑。
看这类片,只会让人觉得,人即使进化千年万年,终不过是畜生。母亲是进化物种,终究还是被拖累,回归兽性。所以,人,到底是无望的。伦理道德,真正进入人心,实在太难。
极地拍片真的勇敢,杨紫琼和杨雅慧的脸上都很有故事,可惜故事就是一个比较反情节的故事……杨紫琼被强奸,爱人被杀害,与她最后的杀女行为之间,总是好像没什么关联的样子……看到人皮面具全程想看到一些类似于“因纽特巫术”之类的东西,可惜并没有……
明明是意外结局的豆列里看到的,下面的简介却把一切都说了- -不过风景真的是不错。。。看着冷死了
很早以前看的片子,甚至都记不得男主是豆叔了,但是对杨紫琼还是印象深刻,冰天雪地里坚强到可怕的女性,内心存有的柔软却换来背叛和伤害,在天寒地冻,没有人迹的遥远的北方,她就是一匹孤独的母狼,残忍可怖,孤独可怜……
看完剧情简介一定会被吓着,但是看了片子就觉得Anja和男人的做法的确有点过分,他们的离开直接就再次夺去了saiva的一切,而且每次男人和Anja在一起她的笑声也被处理的分外刺耳。在恶劣的自然条件下人的情感已经被弱化了,所以可以毫不在乎的杀掉同类甚至至亲,只是当再次受到情感给予的冲击时才回忆起
剧情太BT了还有点恶心,吃不消。。 看MK,不会打分囧
北国风光,千里冰封,万里雪飘。结局真是有够惊悚,即使被简介剧透了还是惊悚。这才叫画皮嘛,周迅那个算什么。除了以上两点外片子没什么好看的。
老师给推荐的,还不错的电影。虽然影评是说人性什么的,但是我还是觉得那个养女好贱啊!!
如果不是在随便乱翻,我已经不记得我看过这个了...彼时觉得闷极,昏暗,暧昧...如今那些凛冽的风声变成刺骨的刀...

很喜欢这部电影,可惜如此小众。最后母亲绞死女儿确实残忍,但是女儿明目张胆抢走母亲的男人,当着她的面和男人打情骂俏甚至是男欢女爱的时候,已经没有把母亲当成一个人了。当女儿告诉母亲他们要离开她去追求自己的生活,还要带走一半的食物和一只雪橇犬的时候,就已经把她逼上了绝路。我不知道女儿是有多狠的心,才能把救了自己又把自己养大的母亲一个人留在茫茫雪原上,这和让她去死有什么分别?母亲亲手救起的两个人共同背叛了她,她看透了人性的自私和人情的凉薄,她的心伤透了,死了。她杀了女儿,其实也是自毁。因为她有很多理由可以骗过男人,解释女儿的死,然后顺理成章独自占有这个男人。可是她没有,她用了最狞厉最恐怖的方式,满足了自己作为一个女人的欲望,同时也彻底报复了男人。母亲最后颤抖的哭声,是对自己一生不幸的哀歌。
压抑而阴冷,很克制且隐忍的娓娓道来那最深处的人心、人性!镜头很冷,也很美!

之前就看过剧情介绍一直不敢看觉得太残忍了。风景真的美,在这种条件下居住也是满满的孤独寂寞,中央空调渣男的到来,母女变情敌,特别是他们三同框的时候真的很尴尬!最后走向了悲剧,老杨演起少女模样眼神有星星。真的很灵!
一个做母亲的为了抢男人居然杀了亲生女儿,还换脸,蛮变态的。
在被部落放逐多年后, 又亲眼目睹了爱人被杀, 她过着与世隔绝的生活却又向往着与人亲密, 所以才会出现影片结尾的不可思议的举动...ps.影片很多屠杀动物的镜头,爱动物的人最好有心理准备

不考虑伦理的话,几种博弈破局的方法:1.从妈妈的角度来优化,一开始不拯救野男人才是最好;2. 从野男人的角度来优化,母女共同服侍是最好;3. 从女儿的角度来优化,私奔时分文不取/或者带上妈妈,是最好; 4. 从全局来优化,母亲拯救男人的时候先把他阉割,才是最优解。 (看的谷阿莫版,就不评分了。)
far north.本以为是意识流原来是惊悚。有些情节对于故事是不必要的。稍显拖沓。讲人性的话还欠了火候。不过,那么冷的地方拍片怪不容易的。
如果没有那些乱七八糟的媚俗闪回而专注于事态本身,可能更显深度~
